I have been messing around with making a windows application in Dev-C++ I wanted to make it in a single source file, rather than a project to see if it worked. It did, other than the fact that I got the windows app, AND a DOS prompt behind it. Is there anyway to remove the DOS prompt? I will include the code, so that you can see what I mean.
DEV-C for Windows contains all standard features necessary for creating, fixing, and executing programs written in C program languages. As C is an object-oriented expansion of C, it also supports earlier versions of the language. Check if in the compiler directory there is g.exe. If you can see it go to: Installing c/g on Windows. And download the file full.exe then follow the instruction and put the directory in path. After that restart your pc, go to the cmd and try to compile there. Original Windows File Manager (winfile) with enhancements - microsoft/winfile.
